Expanded metal decking is made through cutting and stretching metal sheets or coils. The surface of the metal decking is generally raised to provide better non-slip characteristic.
The expanded metal decking can be made of stainless steel, galvanized steel or aluminum. Due to its excellent anti-slip, high load-bearing performance and safety, it can be used to make decks, non-slip floors, stair treads, etc. Common applications include oil rigs, dock decks, balconies, platforms, gangways, aviation maintenance and assembly platforms, and bridge decks.
